Ian Robertson
Director, Information Systems and Technology
Ian Robertson joined American Securities in 2017. He supports our portfolio companies by helping them build and execute complex IT strategies to enhance their growth.
Prior to joining American Securities, Ian was Senior Vice President and Global CIO of Capsugel, a spin-out from Pfizer. Previously, Ian was Senior Vice President and Global CIO of Novartis Consumer Health and Senior Director of Global IT at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. He began his career with ABB in the UK as a Process Automation Senior Consulting Engineer, and then joined The Gillette Company, where he held a series of increasingly responsible roles, becoming Strategic IT Program Manager with responsibility for planning and leading all major technology implementation initiatives within the Gillette division.
Ian received a B. Eng. in Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.
