Roger Carlile

Founder and Former Chairman and CEO of Ankura Consulting

Roger Carlile is an entrepreneur, board member and senior advisor with over 35 years of experience, including more than 20 years in senior leadership positions including roles as CEO and CFO for private equity owned and publicly owned (i.e. SEC registrant) businesses.

In 2014, Mr. Carlile founded and led Ankura Consulting Group, LLC (“Ankura”), a global business advisory company which grew to in excess of $550 million in revenue and 1,500 employees under his leadership. Mr. Carlile stepped down as the CEO in December 2019, and he later stepped down as the Chairman of the board in December 2020.

Prior to founding Ankura, Mr. Carlile served as the chief financial officer at FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) from April 2010 to September 2014. In addition to his position as a CFO, Mr. Carlile retained the duties of his previous roles as chief administrative officer and chief human resources officer at FTI Consulting. Mr. Carlile also previously served as the global leader of FTI Consulting’s forensic and litigation consulting and technology segments.

Mr. Carlile’s career reflects demonstrated success in building and scaling both domestic and global human capital and technology-enabled businesses, as well as executing and integrating merger and acquisition transactions, and sourcing/raising debt and equity capital. Mr. Carlile also brings experience with SEC registrant financial reporting, and he is qualified to serve on audit committees as a financial expert (as defined under the Securities and Exchange Commission Rules regarding the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act). Mr. Carlile is a tribal member of the Cherokee Nation.
Mr. Carlile currently serves on the board of directors of AOC Holdings, LLC (F.K.A. “Alpha Omega Winery, LLC”); Cornerstone Advisors, Inc. (Arizona); and Salus GRC, LLC.

He received an MBA from the University Virginia and BBA in Accounting from Angelo State University.
