Rich Beck

Former SVP, PepsiCo Global Operations

After retiring as SVP, PepsiCo Global Operations in 2016, Rich Beck established Biltmoore Consulting to advise clients in Operations, Supply Chain Optimization, Logistics and General Management.

At PepsiCo, Rich established the Global Operations function and led initiatives that resulted in doubling the company’s productivity to over $1B per year while increasing Lean Six Sigma by 5X and building productivity capability. He served on the PepsiCo CAPEX Committee where he drove Automation, Technology and Global Systems. Rich is credited for achieving a step change improvement in Environmental, Health & Safety, including a 75% reduction in lost time Injuries.

Prior to 2011, he served as President/SVP, Gatorade and was a key member of the leadership team that returned the iconic Sports brand to sustainable growth. Previously, Rich served as SVP, PepsiCo Chicago, where he led the sales, manufacturing and distribution efforts for Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade.

Prior to PepsiCo Chicago, Rich served as SVP, Operations for Frito-Lay, a position he assumed in 2005. In this role, Rich drove productivity and environmental sustainability efforts across Frito-Lay’s world-class Direct Store Delivery system and 40 plant network. Earlier, Rich held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in Frito-Lay operations and logistics. Before joining PepsiCo in 1993, Rich spent 12 years at General Electric. He is a GE MMP graduate and progressed through a variety of Engineering and Plant Management positions at GE Aerospace. Rich holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Rollins College.

Rich is a Board Member of the Small World Charity and along with his wife Allison, founded the Alto Foundation. Rich and Allison reside in Frisco, Texas.
