Nick Bhambri

Former President and CEO of MECS

Nick Bhambri served as the President of MECS Inc., a DuPont company, until April 2012. MECS is a process technology provider to the sulfuric acid industry serving the refining, metallurgical, uranium, and fertilizer industries. Before MECS was acquired by DuPont, Mr. Bhambri served as President and CEO of MECS helping the company grow to become the world’s leading technology provider in its field with more than 1,000 customers in 124 countries throughout the world. He joined MECS in 1992 when it was a Monsanto subsidiary. He was named president of MECS in 2007 following a successful management buyout. In 2008, he assumed the additional role of CEO with the sale of MECS to American Securities. In 2010, American Securities and management sold the company to DuPont.

Mr. Bhambri received both a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
