Edison Peres

Edison Peres provides advisory, consulting, and coaching services as principal of EFP Advisors, LLC. A recognized global thought leader and business innovator in the technology industry, he works with executives to facilitate successful business transformation. He serves on the Board of Directors for multiple companies, including Global Knowledge and as vice chairman at Core BTS.

Mr. Peres has been a leader at the forefront of market transitions throughout his career. He has provided strategic and operational leadership to technology companies, including Cisco, AT&T, Panasonic, and Texas Instruments. During his 14 years at Cisco, Peres pioneered many of Cisco’s innovative sales and channel strategies. These innovations include the design and successful evolution of the industry-leading, value-based channel model and reward programs. His leadership helped set a benchmark for partnering in the technology industry.

As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels at Cisco, he was well known as Cisco’s “Channel Chief." His leadership enabled partners to successfully evolve and grow their businesses, adopt new technologies, and improve their profitability. Mr. Peres was a champion for helping partners improve their valuation and provided insight and advice to enable M&A activities. He has been recognized for his leadership many times during his career, including being named as the #1 Channel Chief in 2013 by CRN.

Prior to his retirement in 2015, Mr. Peres led the multi-billion dollar global partner organization that was instrumental in the formation of Cisco’s managed services and cloud strategy.

A collaborative builder, motivator and manager of successful organizations, Mr. Peres has extensive experience in strategic go-to-market leadership in sales, marketing, programs and global business operations.

Married and a father of four, Mr. Peres holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration.
