Revitalizing East River Park
The full American Securities team reconvened in the afternoon at East River Park in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan to volunteer with the Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC).
Equipped with shovels, rakes and gardening tools, we weeded, planted and mulched throughout the park.
LESEC was founded in 1987 by Outstanding Renewal Enterprises, Inc. as one of the first organizations to offer community-based recycling and composting programs in New York City.
