David Xu

David Xu joined American Securities in 2014. He leads commercial and market due diligence on potential U.S. acquisitions from Asia angle, and supports in developing and executing market strategy, add-on investment opportunities and other value-adds for our companies in Asia.

Prior to joining American Securities, David was with PwC Consulting’s China Strategy team as an Associate Director, where he worked with multi-national and Chinese clients to help develop and improve their China businesses. He provided transaction support such as diligence, M&A negotiation; and helped develop their strategies on market entries and turnarounds. Before that, he was with L.E.K. Consulting in Shanghai as a consultant and manager.

David received a BS in Economics from Fudan University and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
