The Bronx is Blooming

In July 2024, to support “The Bronx is Blooming,” our colleagues created seed pods for local gardens, which will bloom into beautiful wildflowers.
After learning from horticulturists about the vital role of native plants in our ecosystem, 20 American Securities colleagues assembled seed pods. The pods were made with various wildflower seeds, which were rolled into tiny balls of clay and stacked into egg cartons for safe transportation. These seed pods will help increase biodiversity in the meadows in the Bronx.
The Bronx is Blooming is a Bronx-based nonprofit dedicated to environmental stewardship, community building, and youth leadership development.
