John Danilovich

Former CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Former US Ambassador

John Danilovich was the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) from 2005 to 2009. Prior to his appointment as CEO of the MCC by President George W. Bush, he served as the United States Ambassador to Brazil (2004-2005), United States Ambassador to Costa Rica (2001-2004), and was on the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal Commission (1991-1996), chairing the Commission’s Transition Committee prior to the transfer of the Canal to the Panamanians. Ambassador Danilovich has been active in the international maritime industry for several decades and has held numerous executive positions in the private sector.

He earned a BA in Political Science from Stanford University and an MA in International Relations and Economics from the University of Southern California (London branch).
