During the partnership with American Securities, Air Methods was the largest domestic air medical transport provider, serving 48 states with over 275 bases of operations. The company also operated a leading air tourism business. Air Methods’ fleet of owned, leased or maintained aircrafts featured approximately 500 helicopters and fixed wing aircrafts. The company employed more than 4,500 team members.
