Director, Supply Chain
Jim Nelles joined American Securities in 2015. He supports our portfolio companies by helping them reduce costs through strategic sourcing and other supply chain initiatives.
Prior to joining American Securities, Jim was SVP of Global Operations at Steelseries, a manufacturer of peripherals used in on-line gaming, where he was responsible for supply chain, procurement, sales & operations planning, customer support, and quality. Prior to Steelseries, Jim founded and ran an independent consulting firm which specialized in operations consulting, including supply chain, procurement, sales & operations planning, and manufacturing. Previously, Jim spent more than 15 years building a career and expertise in global operations both on the front line and in a consulting capacity across multiple industries, working for LG Electronics, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, McKinsey & Company, Inc., Pall Corporation, and The ProAction Group.
Jim received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MA in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
